The Galloway Food Hub
is grateful for any donations that you may wish to make.
Donations help to ensure that the Food Hub is able to continue serving our rural communities here in the Glenkens and throughout Galloway, well into the future.
Your donations contribute to:
- Staff costs
- Rent at our packing centre in Dalry
- Promotional costs
- Packing materials
- Fuel and transport costs
- Finance administration
- Software fees
With the support of our kind donors and funders, we hope to be able to grow the Galloway Food Hub.
We have been funded by the Glenkens and District Trust, via Foundation Scotland administering the Blackcraig Windfarm Community Fund, various Scottish government initiatives such as the Community Lead Local Development Fund and the Social Enterprise Grant. DG Climate Hub has supported us also alongside Codel, Glenkens Charity Shop and the Scottish Regional Food Partnership.
We will continue to widen our range of products, work with more local producers, offer more volunteer opportunities and give more customers access to local and climate and nature friendly food.

Donate To The Food Bank and Community Larder
When you shop with the Food Hub, look out for a Food Bank donation ‘item’ alongside our products. You can choose to donate anything from £1 upwards. Just increase the number of £1 donations in your basket to donate more. With this money we buy eggs from Suie Fields to supply the food bank who are always short of eggs. If they require other produce we will donate this instead.
