Terms & Conditions

The Terms and Conditions published below apply to the March 2025 prize draw administered by Galloway Food Hub CIC.

  1. The promoter of the prize draw is Galloway Food Hub CIC – a Community Interest Company registered at Creaghlas, Rhonehouse, Castle Douglas, DG7 1SA.
  2. The prize draw is open to all but excludes the following: Any directors, employees, freelancers, volunteers, trustees or partners of Galloway Food Hub CIC, any producers, growers or farmers or other suppliers to Galloway Food Hub CIC.
  3. There is no cost for entry to the prize draw.
  4. Only one entry per person can be made to the prize draw.
  5. No purchase is necessary. A purchase will not improve your chance of winning.
  6. One winner will be drawn at random from people who have sign up with their email address before the closing date of 12pm on Friday 24th March 2025.
  7. The prize consists of 1 box of seasonal Food Hub produce including a 1kg roasting joint of beef supplied by Barnbarroch Organic Farm.
  8. Should any of the above products not be available, the promoters reserve the right to substitute other local produce from Dumfries & Galloway. 
  9. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes on offer and prizes are not transferrable.
  10. No responsibility will be taken for any income tax or other tax liabilities incurred by the winners in receipt of the prizes outlined above.
  11. Prize draw winners will be notified via Facebook messenger within 10 working days of the closing date.
  12. In the event of the winner being uncontactable, Galloway Food Hub CIC reserves the right to draw another winner.
  13. No use of personal data regarding competition entrants will be made.
  14. Questions about the prize draw may be addressed to the promoters to the GAP Communications address.
  15. This Prize Draw is governed by Scottish law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
